Do you know what the name of this baby sling is?

It looks like a large tube (I think...i've only seen ladies wearing it) and you put your head and one arm through it and it rests on your shoulder and the baby sits on your opposite hip and the sling helps baby stay snug to your body, almost as if you were holding him in your arm. It's super simple, but I have no idea what it's called or where to get one?

Do you know what the name of this baby sling is?
I'm not sure, but you can use the Moby Wrap to do that.

Reply:I have a moby wrap and a hotsling. I really loved my moby wrap. My daughter didn't like the hotsling the first couple of months. She will tolerate it now.

Reply:Something like this? Some places call them baby pouches

Reply:Another possibility would be the Maya Wrap. Google it, it will be easy to find.
Reply:I think you're talking about a pouch-style sling. It is like this sort of thing? http://www.chicslings.com/

That's one place to buy them, but I recommend going to http://www.thebabywearer.com They have all sorts of reviews and things about every type of carrier you can think of! Definitely check out the forums where you can ask questions about best brands and things, and they have a section to sell their second hand stuff.
Reply:Hi

there's a sling called the jaz sling.

You can get it from eBay or http://www.jazslings.com.au/osc/

I bought one of these for my daughter, it's the best and she loves it!!

Good luck
Reply:It's called a pouch sling. One name brand is Hotsling. I love, love, LOVE my Hostling. I also made one myself, but I didn't like the fabric as much as the fabric from the Hotsling. You can find deals on eBay and on sale at other online stores. Other name brands include Peanut Shell and Chic Slings.

Sometimes you'll hear them called 'tube slings.'

I like the pouch sling because it folds up so compactly, it's great for traveling. I like my Moby wrap, as the other answer suggested, but it's a lot of fabric and not as convenient for quick trips about town and traveling. The Moby is great for walks and other longer activities.
Reply:There are tons of different brand names. It sounds like you are talking about a pouch sling. One of the most popular is the Hotsling.

Do a search though. There are many WAHMs making and selling these, it is always great to support a local Mom. Plus their prices are often better than the big national brands.
Reply:It's called a baby sling carrier.

Baby's R Us %26amp; Toys R Us has them.

Google it and you can shop around.

Should i name my baby scarlet or rachel?

my boyfriend wants rachel but i think its too simple, and i though scarlet is out of the ordinary

Should i name my baby scarlet or rachel?
I love Scarlet! I like it much better though spelled Scarlett. It looks more like a name that way, and adds more elegance than having it just Scarlet.

I love Rachel too, it's a really pretty and classic name, but Scarlett is definitely more unusual and different. Why not compromise and go with Scarlett Rachel? That's a beautiful name, and it flows really well.
Reply:I agree with the majority: Scarlet Rachel

But I like the nickname Rae for Rachel, Scarlet doesn't have a nickname. When most of my friends have babies, they often end up turning some part of the middle name into a nickname within the first 18 months. So now it's like a habit for me when baby names come up. I think, great name, now let's take a hatchet and shorten it up... :)
Reply:personally, id go with scarlette. its FAR more funky, yet it can still maintain a classy spin, so if she wanted to entre a career where it required her to be "superior" if you like, her name wouldn't be weighing her down.

rachel is pretty, but is VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY... common and simple.

its your choice.

all the best xxxx

CONGRATZ!
Reply:If she has red hair, I'd go with Scarlet, otherwise I'd stick with the literary classic spelling, Scarlett (even though Scarlett O'Hara was actually named Katie...)
Reply:I like Rachel better, but on teh other hand i've never met many nice Rachels so i'd go with Scarlet

actually they sound nice together

Scarlet Rachel

Rachel Scarlet
Reply:Scarlett Rachel sounds better than Rachel Scarlett.

I personally don't like either.

But if you're going for what sounds better, then Scarlett Rache is definitely it.

God bless.
Reply:I'd be a bit biased here. my name is Rachel, so, I'd go with that. However, I love the name Scarlett!

By the way, my sister's name is Karen :)
Reply:Scarlett is a beautiful name. Rachel is really common now a days.
Reply:I think Rachel Scarlett would be pretty. Rachel is a great name. Plus, it's biblical. I think the two names flow nicely together.
Reply:I like the name Scarlett

But u could do Scarlett Rachel or Rachel Scarlett :)
Reply:I love Rachel! Scarlett is pretty but harsh. What about Charlotte?

If not I would go with Rachel Scarlet or Scarlet Rachel and just see which one fits her better.
Reply:Scarlet
Reply:Scarlet is pretty and classy.
Reply:i like scarlet rachel...a good compromise
Reply:How about Scarlet Rachel? ;)
Reply:scarlet.
Reply:scarlet.
Reply:Scarlet Rachel.

though i like the spelling Scarlette better!
Reply:I prefer Rachel.

Scarlet is a little bold for my taste.
Reply:i really love both of those names..

i think it would be nice to put them together.

Scarlett Rachel sounds lovely :]]
Reply:Wait and see if she has red hair. If so, then I'd go with Scarlett.
Reply:Rachel. Thats a great name

Which baby girl name do you like better...Madelyn Grace or Lily Emerson?

I've already asked this question before, but I really am in such a quandary. The vote seems to be 50/50. My daughter is Ella McKenzie if that helps anyone give me insight into which name to choose for her baby sister. Thanks for any help!

Which baby girl name do you like better...Madelyn Grace or Lily Emerson?
Spell Madeline correctly, save your child the trouble. Grace is overused as a middle.

Emerson is a MASCULINE BOY'S name meaning SON OF EMERY. You might as well call her Lily Son.
Reply:Too many Lily-s name her anything else! Report Abuse

Reply:Depends on your last name initial...if it's ...say...M, that would make Lily Emerson's initials LEM...like phlegm. Thus, bad choice.

That said....Lily Emerson is a WAY better choice. Madelyn is SOOOO overused that there will definitely be more than one (or two) Madelyns/Madys/Maddys/Maddies in her classes!

Also, your first girl has an androgenous middle name, %26amp; Lily Emerson does too, and so they go together better as sister names.

"Ella and Lily" or "Lily and Ella" roll off the tongue much nicer than "Maddy and Ella" or "Ella and Maddy" do. "Ella and Madelyn" just makes it even more awkward-sounding together and sounds like a tongue-twister!

(I LOVE the name Ella BTW...it was one of my second choices...good choice!) :)
Reply:I am not a fan of in the now over-used names, however, I am not rude like some of these people on here. WOW! I am a first timer and reading what some of these people say blows me away. Anyway, back to the name game. My children have normal, yet unique names. I don't care to share them as I don't want them stolen! They will be able to grow old with them which is awesome. Anyway...

Lily Emerson or Madelyn Grace.

All three Lily, Madelyn, and Grace have been so over-used as of late it isn't even funny! However, since you have named your other daughter Ella McKenzie then Lily Emerson most definitely fits a sister name better.
Reply:madelyn grace is a gorgeous name but it seems so simple where as lily emerson has edge and is still girly. i like lily emerson except theres no nickname where as madelyn can be mady. Sorry i dont think i even chose but your the parent so im sure you will pick the winner:]

im with the girl on page one, her sisters name is e,m. so itd be cute if hers was m,e

madelyn emerson its the best of both worldss!
Reply:Congratulations!!! Well, they're both beautiful names!!!! I really like the first name Lily and I think it would be SO SO great with her sister's name Ella!!!!! But Emerson really isn't one of my favorite names. I do really love Lily Madelyn... maybe you could use that???? I think it's beautiful!!!!! Ella McKenzie and Lily Madelyn. So cute!!! And this way, their middle names would both start with the same letter, which I think is super cute!! Good luck!!
Reply:Yuck and double yuck.

Madeleine is nice, spelled correctly. Grace is filler as a middle.

Lily is popular. Emerson is a boy's name meaning Son OF Emery, and is actually one of my middle names.

-Aubrey Emerson Lux
Reply:Madelyn Grace is a beautiful name. I would also like Lily Emerson if Emerson was a real family name of yours. But just using it seems kind of weird if it is not a family last name.
Reply:I love the name Lily, but I am not sure about Emerson for a middle name. Lily Grace is gorgeous. If you wanted to keep the middle names as they are Lily Emerson is very cute.
Reply:my favorite name ever is Lily. i would definitely choose that for your baby's first name. but i don't really like Emerson too much. i think that Lily Grace sounds really beautiful. hope i was helpful!
Reply:I like Lily Grace. emerson is a boys name. i like madelyn spelled Madalyn

also:

Adysen Grace (Ady and Ella)

Alianne Grace (Ali and Ella.....cute)

Anabella Emylie (Bella and Ella)

Matreya Grace

Lilianne Emylie

Reply:First off, GREAT NAMES!!!

I love the name Emerson! Uncommon and pretty!

I also love Madelyn.

Lily is nice but not as great as the other two names.

What about Emerson Madelyn or Madelyn Emerson.
Reply:They are both very beautiful names. I can't decide.

Lily Emerson...

I love them both.
Reply:Madelyn Grace.

I prefer the name "Emerson" as a middle name for a boy.
Reply:i like bits of both, Madelyn Emerson, my name is Madeleine (spelt different sounds the same) but lilly is a really nice name aswell
Reply:Don't go with Emerson. You already gave one poor child a horribly masculine middle, at least be nice to the second one.
Reply:Ella and Lily. That's so cute. I like Lily Emerson more! but both are beautiful names.. so is Ella McKenzie
Reply:I like Lily Emerson better.
Reply:Lily Emerson.

Reply:Lily Emerson is beautiful. :-)
Reply:I like Lily Emerson a whole lot better than Madelyn Grace.
Reply:Madelyn Grace
Reply:I like Lily Emerson.
Reply:Madeleine Lily or better yet, Madeleine Lilia.
Reply:I LIKE MADELYN
Reply:Madelyn grace... for the other name you dont prefer madelyn emerson? i think you kinda like names with E and M
Reply:I think Madelyn Grace... very pretty!
Reply:Madelyn Grace.

To me Emerson doesn't seem fit to be a name. (:
Reply:i like Madelyn Grace - very pretty. goes well with Ella.

Reply:Madelyn Grace. Please Tell me know which one you choice. Both are nice.
Reply:i love madelyn grace! i would go with that one!
Reply:Lily

But I am not fond of Emerson for middle.

combine from both names like

Lily Grace

Lily Madelyn

But if Emerson is a family name, and want to keep it in.

You may.

I need baby name help! It's URGENT!!!!?

Hey guys! So the deal is that my friend's mom is finally having another child. She has been wanting another one since I have known her but she had to wait to gt re-married before she could have one. The bad thing is she is having a baby girl and she picked the worst name! The name she picked is Jamie June Straight. My friend and I have a theory that this is a wannabe superhero name. Anyway, the mother said that since we hate the name so much that if we could come up with or find another name that would be better and that she likes she will use that name. That is where I need you guys. I need a good name that goes with the middle name of June. Yes she is stuck on that middle name because it's her husbands two grandmothers middle names. So I need _____ June Straight. Please help! We can't have another baby with a horrible name in that family (my friends name is Valentino. That is a bad name!). So please guys before she has the child I need new names! Thanks in advance =]

Reply:Maybe names that sound similar could work, like Amy, Holly, Molly, Jane, Lainey, Janie, Kaylee, Corrie, Ashley... etcetera.

Really, Jamie Straight is not such an awful name. My housemate's name is Jamie, and it's helped her a lot in finding a job, because she's often mistaken for a man on the basis of her name.
Reply:I agree that Jamie June isn't the greatest name around. I think with a short name like June a longer first name is needed than Jamie. Also I'm thinking a three or more syllable name ending in an 'a' sound might be good.
