What should we name our baby boy?

My dad's name is Michael (Really Charles Michael but i'm not a big fan of Charles). My husband's dad's name is David (Davis Wayne but i don't really like Wayne either). And my husband's name is Ryan Matthew (he doesn't want to name the baby Ryan bc he has always been called Brian from people who can't hear!) So we've considered David Michael, Michael David, and Nathan Matthew. (I don't want to use one of our dad's names without the other) What do you like? Do you have any other ideas? We want something that people can pronounce, spell... so nothing too crazy! Oh and our last name is Garner if that helps!

What should we name our baby boy?
I love the name Michael I would go with David Michael its a strong name and goes well together!
Reply:Forget those names and slap that kid with something awesome like Lazarus.
Reply:Mi(for Michael)da(for David)

Midas Matthew is good.
Reply:How about nathan Matthews....?

I thinks it's a nice name :)
Reply:Like the name Matthew, Ryan and David. Not keen on Micahel. I like Chuck which is a nickname of Charles.

Micah David

Bryce Matthew

Matthias Anton

Matthew Nolan

Matthew Chuck
Reply:I like Nathan Matthew Garner the best. Nathan is a really cute name, and you can use the name Nate if you want to, which is such an adorable nickname for a little boy. Nate Garner.....very cute!
Reply:Go with Nathan Matthew... Nickname Nate

Its a cool name.

I agree, you cant use one but not the other...

鈾?Bee
Reply:Why not use them as middle names?

Aden Michael David

Lleyton David Michael

Lucas David Michael

Eli Nathan Mathew

Rylan David Michael

I like David Michael combination the best.
Reply:Michael David Garner sounds nice. But, any of the 3 combinations you came up with sound good. Its nice to see someone using their head and naming their child something normal instead of these trendy, weird names. Your child will thank you when he gets into school and he isn't harassed and teased about his odd name.
Reply:David Michael.
Reply:Michael David or Nathan Matthew
Reply:Out of the names that you picked out....

I think that David Michael sounds best.

But I think that a really cute name would be,

Jonathon David

Jacob Mattew

and,

Nicholas James.

are also good names...

Hope i helped...(:
Reply:I really like David Michael
Reply:How about Benjamin Blaze Garner sounds good to me or Oliver Blake Garner :)
Reply:Michael David Garner, I think.
Reply:You've got great names to work with. I like both David Michael and Michael David, but I think David Michael works best with Garner.
Reply:Michael David is my 1st choice. Lord, It's good to hear a real and beautiful name for a change, thanks!! And congrats!
Reply:David Michael Garner. I love that combination, they sound good together. I used to read these books when I was a kid and one of the characters was called David Michael (as in he had two first names). You could do that if you wanted, and then have another name for the middle (Nathan or Matthew). Here's some more ideas (I like non-crazy names too): Thomas, Sebastien, Ethan, Elliot, Emmett, Samuel, Benjamin.
Reply:I like where you're going with these naming ideas. It's important to honor family, and names should mean something.

So: You should name your first son and daughter after your husband's parents and your second son and daughter after your parents.

The middle name of the first son should be your husband's first name; the middle name of the first daughter can be your first name or the name of someone in the family who you want to honor.

This son should be named David Ryan (or David Michael) Garner; the second son should be named Michael David (or Michael Ryan) Garner
Reply:My little boy is going to be Ethan-Mikyle. It is a variation of Michael. Mikyle is easy to pronounce, spell and can't easily be mistaken.

So you could call him Mikyle David if you want a variation of the name but still similar.

Think about it, but if you don't want something dfferent, I would go for Nathan Matthew. They are lovely names!
Reply:Michael David is really nice name . . .
Reply:I like both

David Michael,

Michael David

If he will go by full name including middle I like Michael David Garner.

If he will mostly be called 1st last name combo then David Michael Garner wins

David Garner (Dave Garner) sounds better to me

because everyone even if parents call child by first, middle, last

as full name

Shorten it to 1st/last or pet/short form last

Dave Garner wins :) then
Reply:Mathew Ryan Garner

*Mattie David Garner

David Ryan Garner
Reply:David Michael!! =]
Reply:My 1st chice would be David Michael

2nd Nathan Matthew

3rd Michael David (it just doesn't quite sound right)

You could consider David Matthew!!!!
Reply:Charlie Davis

Connor Lachlan

Oliver Kade

Rory Sebastian

Nicholas Mathew
Reply:i like Nathan Matthew best
Reply:I would say to go ahead and chose the name, without thinking of the family. If that family name is what you want, then use it. Tell the other grandpa that your next son will have his middle name
Reply:I like Nathan Matthew
Reply:Name him Johnathan, it has a ring with Garner! (Johnathan Garner please come to the office.)
