What would you recommend as the best name for my baby boy?

Choose a name that holds special meaning for you and remind him of where his name came from as he grows up. This way he will be proud of his name!

Also, the more common the name, the easier it will be for him growing up. My friend has always had a terrible time with people misspelling her name when they hear it or mispronouncing her name when they read it. That can be really frustrating for a child!

What would you recommend as the best name for my baby boy?
Phillip or David Lee

Reply:Think and choose carefully. He is the one who will have to live with it. Choose a name that he can build around. Names that can be shortened are nice. Joshua (Josh), Samuel (Sam), Zachary (Zach). These are names that will stand through the years. I would stay away from made-up names. You may want to name him after a grandfather or great-grandfather, if the name is acceptable and you want to honor the person. You may want to name him after his father, but not Jr. He will be called Jr. Put a different name with his father's. The decision is one you must make and make it carefully. Your son is the one who will have to live with the name.
