my sister is having a baby.
so yay an aunt for yet another time.
she thinkin of the name and she likes
the name Yaretzi. its in aztec i think and
means "you will always be loved".
its pronounced 'yah-ret-zi'. with like the mexican
accent. so what do you think of the name?
Baby name =]] opinions =]?
I don't like it. Makes me think of 'Yahtzee".
Reply: Too blessed in legendary Samurai. The head God of all ancient
worlds is sometimes called yaretzear. The name is the father
sun magician of Egyptian Basket boaters in 2000 b.c. A newer
more respected name today might be interesting. Yama is good,
YaTe is okay too. It is that meaning that is sanctified and not
generally accepted in some temples. It is like Shintu or Tao
reserved for religious families. Maybe it is due for a comeback in
prayerful families, it is beautiful.
Reply:I automatically thought of Yahtzee when I saw it, and I thought it sounded awful, but I must say that the meaning swayed me into liking the name. The meaning has sentimental conveyance to the child, so I think it's perfect.
Reply:It's not Aztec my friend, it must be Zapotec, one of many civilizations that took place here in Mexico.
And the one I knew that meant that was Nayelli (Na-yel-li)
Reply:That baby is going to be spelling and teaching people how to pronounce his name every day of his life.Sorry I dont like it although I do love the meaning
Reply:i dont care for it at all...the meaning is neat but i dont like the sound of the name...
Reply:mm not that great. my name is pretty unique and its hard as a kid to to keep telling everyone how to say it its frustrating
Reply:nice but
how bout Yamilex
( yah meel ays )
Reply:It's nice
