Can someone suggest cute name for a baby girl?
Rather than giving you a long list of names, I'll share with you my criteria on choosing names. 1) The doctor/president test: would you trust your life (or give your vote) to a woman named Mykensi? Probably not. How about Elizabeth? That would be more likely, yes? 2) The elderly test: how is this name going to sound on your sweet little girl when she's a mature, older woman? Do you think she'd be the least bit embarassed to be known to everyone as Kandi Star? Nuh-uh.





Just be reasonable. Pick a name that will grow well with your child - and if the name has a meaning that you love, or is after a family member that you'd like to honor, so much the better. For what it's worth, my daughter's name is Rachael ("little lamb") Anna (named for my grandmother.)

Reply:My boyfriend thinks I'm a "burnout crazy hippie" but when we found we were having a girl I told him that I wanted to name her Sunshine Dai because shes due in May but if she was due in the fall or winter time I wanted to name her Autumn Breeze. I picked those names because I thought having a child would be the most beautiful thing in the world and wnated to name her after the most beatiful things I thought of such as a "sunny day" and an "autumn breeze".

Reply:We have an Emmalie (pronounced Emma-ly) , Isabella, and Helen Alexis. It always took us until the last minute to agree on a name. I also like Reagan. We also made sure each one of them had a family name. I feel like it makes you feel more connected. Good Luck!
