Does any one like the baby name Lelind for a baby girl or Skylar for a boy? If not any suggestions?

I like the name Skylar for a girl.

Does any one like the baby name Lelind for a baby girl or Skylar for a boy? If not any suggestions?
They seem like the other way around - Lelind for a boy and Skylar for a girl.





I think Skylar is too trendy sounding and Lelind sounds a bit stuffy - like something handed down to a third generation boy "Leland Cunningham Walker the third".

Reply:Truthfully Skylar was originally a girl's name I know it can go both ways but usually it's a girl's name.


My cousin's son who is a boy is named Skylar and he now goes by his middle name.

Reply:I think of Skylar as a girls name (I know a little girl named Skylar), and Lelind seems like a name for a male (I know several males named Leland).





A name on our list, that is similar to Lelind and could be used for a girl is Malinda (you could spell it Melinda). Lindsey has some similarities to Lelind as well.





I can not think of any boy names that have similarities to Skylar, other than Kyle.

Reply:Honestly I don't think either of those are good names, but thats just my opinion. When I was pregnant before I lost the baby I had the name Enspyratian (Inspiration) picked for a girl and Zemarion for a boy. Maybe that will help. Good Luck!
