Baby name help please?

we are going this week for an ultrasound to find out what were having and if we have a boy we were wanting to name him Lane Garrett for his first and middle name but when i told my mom and grandmother they hated the middle name. we are definitely using Lane as the first name but I was wondering what others thought about garrett for the middle name. I dont want to give the baby a name that don't sound good. Me and my husband we're really excited that we finally picked a name and I didn't expect that reaction but now I'm worried that it sounds bad or something.

With our 1st kids we just told everyone these are the names and why we chose them and nobody ever said anything to us. With our most recent most liked the name, but some thought it sounded horrible w/ our last name and/or that it was an old person sounding name.....we still used the name and we still love it. So my advice is- you two are the parents you name your child what you love. Congrats and good luck.

Reply:I really like it but I also like names that can be shortened and I do not see ant nick names here Rett or gary but neither really fit so I agree with the family go back to the drawing boar for a name that can have a nick name. Just my opinion
Reply:It's a strong name and I like it. I was also thinking Lane Aaron or Lane Ryan is nice but whatever name you decide will be the best as it came from the heart.
