Help with baby name...?

I just found out I am having a girl. We had decided to name the baby Brooks if was a boy.(my maiden name) I know this will be our last child,and I love the name. What do you all think of a girl named Brooks? (please don't suggest Brooke, I don't care for it) Thanks.........this is my first question hope it works...

hmm, idk its just okay but im sure it would grow on ppl. however, her whole life ppl will prob mess up her name and call her brooke by mistake.

Nicole, Kelsey, Macy, Sarah, Hannah, Alexis, Lexi, Taylor, any of those all my friends LOVE those names =] including meeee





and i totally agree with the girl below me how she said people will call her brooke because my friends name is spelled brook and they call her brooke

Reply:I'm sorry but I don't care for Brooks for either a boy or a grl, but less for a girl. I know you said you don't care for Brooke, but it's the same name with one letter different and it's much better for a little girl.
Reply:What's the middle name? At first I didn't like it but then I said it and it is actually a pretty name. I think Samantha,Hannah,or Kaitlin would be good middle names. You should pick something more common and simple for the middle name. The trouble with me is this is our 8th baby(and probably our last,too),and if it's a girl, my hubby wants a more common name and I want something unusual. I don't like names that are just letters put together but this one I actually like. I say go for it.
