Reply:I don't like it. It's too trendy and Maddie is a nickname. It's too informal and while it may sound good to a baby or a little kid, it most likely won't work for an adult. Madeleine or Madeline is much better and she could be Maddie for short. That way, she has more of a choice on what she'd like to be called. Briann is a very awkward spelling. It's better spelled Brianne or Breanne. Briann looks tacky.
Reply:I don't like Maddie. It sounds too old fashioned and doesn't sound like a name an adult would have. She should've named her Madison. I like the pronunciation of Briann, but hate the spelling. It's as if something's missing. If her name was Maddie Brianne, it would be nice. Madison Brianne or Madison Brianna would've been better. But I don't really care because that's not my child.

Just something with a little more backbone. Maddie is a nickname for crying out loud! and Briann...her brothers name is Brian right... wow. no.

Reply:its ok. it would be better if maddie was short for something. i mean maybe madelyn, madeline, madison? also, i think briann should be maybe spelled like brieann. if you look at it it just looks like a misspelling of brian. ick. i really hate that name.
Reply:i like it fine. At least she didn't name her kid something really weird like a lot of celebs do. But I have a feeling that kid will regret her name being Maddie once she gets older. It'd be better if it was Madelyn.

Reply:Horrid. Maddie is a nickname, not a name. This child is going to hit her twenties and want a career, but that'll be hard to do with such a childish name.
Reply:It's okay. I don't like the spelling of Briann..it looks like a weird version of Brian. I would spell it Brianne or Breanne. Maddie is cute...but maybe I'm biased becasue thats my name.
