What is the Meaning, History and Origin of the baby girl name “UNIKA”?

Some poor deranged person decided to be unique by naming their child a unique version of Unique.

Please, you are naming another human being... if you have to look up the meaning, history, and/or origin of a name, it is not meaningful to you. Please choose names that have significance - your child will thank you in their 20's.

What is the Meaning, History and Origin of the baby girl name “UNIKA”?
Look it up on Babynames.com, but I am pretty sure it is

1) Invented and 2) African-american, a spelling-variant of the word "unique" (there is a TV character on the backyardigans children's animated show, a girl character called "Uniqua")
Reply:It's an invented name.

It means Unique in spanish.

History, um, someone made it up.
Reply:Unika is an American derivative of the word Unique. Which in turn means the same.
Reply:Besides what other have already said, a variant Onyeka, is an Igbo feminine name which is short for the name ONYEKACHUKWU. Onyekachukwu can also be a male name, but Onyeka cannot. Onyekachukwu means "Who is greater than god?" in Igbo.
Reply:Unika means Shining also spelled Unikah Malawian (boys name)

Unika is the name of the carbon fiber handlebar; a monocoque beauty that weighs only 180 grams (460mm width). With anatomic shape and special front double cable grooves, ITM says that their extensive testing shows the Unika bar to be 20% more rigid than aluminium bars of a similar shape. Unika offers a standard clamp diameter (25.8mm). A key feature is that the bar cross-section is round on top, so rides can change their grip easily.

The brand name was Unika and it was the same slicer as is being sold today. In the late seventies the meat grinder was added to the product line
