We want to give our baby a different last name as us. BUT... the story is...
My "last name" is my fathers step fathers. And Im NOT giving the name to my kid when hes born. Im want to go back to my fathers original name which is Lee.
So my question is , what kind of problems will I run into if my kid has a different last name than me and my wife?
His name would be either
Kai Young Lee Adair
or
Kai Young Adair Lee
and my name and wifes name isnt even close except for the Adair part which is hypenated with my 'fake' last name

I don't know about "problems" you would have, other than some people questioning you about it, which isn't really a bad thing.
You could also get your name last changed legally too in order to have the same last name as your son. Then you wouldn't have to worry about your step-grandfather's name either
